Some compare the 1968 to the Partagas Black, no surprise as both blends were created by those under the tutelage of Ramon Cifuentes. The Macanudo 1968 has quite a bit in common with the Partagas Decadas in that the filler is from the Nicaraguan island Ometepe as well as from the Dominican.
